FIRST® Tech Challenge (for ages 12-18) tests teams to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge using an alliance format.
We have now moved onto the super-qualifier competition!

About the team
We are the West Linn Nine. We’re a robotics team of nine students in Mr. Manes' Robotics and Engineering class at West Linn High School. Some of us entered this experience with little to no knowledge of robotics, while others were more experienced. Despite differences in background and interests, we all banded together to build our team and ready ourselves for competition. We have been working hard to build and program a fantastic robot and will continue to throw ourselves into this work for the rest of the semester.
Our team is also female powered with six out of nine teammates being women. This class is important to us in encouraging women in robotics and engineering careers. Our team gives everyone an equal chance to succeed and find passion for this field of study.
